Before and After Photos

The Challenge / Problem

These owners were repeat customers, and this was a new home for them. They wanted to replace a dated, weathered front entry with one that had more character and more glass. Many of the original windows were also old and did not save much energy. They wanted a cleaner look with no grids. They also wanted windows that worked better. This mattered most in the kitchen, where they wanted a more open view of the backyard.

The Solution / Approach

The solution was to change the look of the home with a beautiful 8’ French entry door. It has half-lite glass and a warm Signet Knotty Alder finish. ProVia Endure windows gave the home a cleaner look with no grids. They also helped the whole home save more energy. Awning windows in the kitchen opened up the view of the backyard. A custom offset French door was a creative, fully working fix for the smaller basement opening.

Results / Outcome

The finished project is a beautiful mix of character, energy savings, and function. The new entry doors changed the look of the home. The updated windows gave cleaner sight lines, more comfort, and bigger views. Each detail was chosen to fit the home and to last. The owners can enjoy the performance and function for years to come.
